Flying downhill at 185MPH with 700BHP under your right foot on a track built down the side of a big mountain... that's how it's done in Australia and it's the one thing I truly miss about that place (please don't tell my friends and family). So you can imagine the excitement when we were contacted by *my* V8 Supercar team - Stone Brothers Racing! I can now follow all of the trackside action live from over here in the US without leaving the comfort of the luxuriously appointed ShoZu office. But more importantly, I can still call it 'work'. V8 Supercars are a really big deal in New Zealand, Bahrain, even China, and the number 1 cause of pub arguments and food fights in Australia. The cars aren't quite the same spec as when they rolled off the showroom floor at Ford, but I liked to think that my one was identical even though it was oxford green with plastic hub caps.
Okay, no more Australian posts for a while I swear.
