We like to stay in touch with what other bloggers are saying and have been checking out The Nokia Blog where Nokia users can learn tips and tricks. Our friends at The Nokia Blog are ShoZu fans and have created a post on how you can use ShoZu to post to Twitter with an easy step-by-step video guide. In the video they use TwitPic but as you avid ShoZu users will know now you can post direct to Twitter so it’s even easier! To watch the video click here. To post directly to Twitter the stages are exactly the same except select Twitter as the destination rather than TwitPic and hey presto! Happy ShoZu-ing PS You can use your mobile to set up Twitter as a destination or log in to your account here
We know it’s a bit in advance but we just can’t hold in our excitement any longer. The judging for the Webby Awards has begun with nominees announced on 14th April, when the public voting begins - and we're hoping to be shortlisted. The Webbys are the global awards for interactive work with past winners including iTunes, Google and Amazon.com. We’ll be sat waiting with baited breath to see who are up for the awards this year and crossing our fingers, toes, phones and anything else that comes to hand to support ShoZu and our involvement with Britglyph, the awesome public art project that has created the largest image...ever. We're hoping to be shortlisted in both the Experimental and Innovation categories as well as NetArt! We’re hoping ShoZu fans vote for us if we are through to the next round *hint hint*.... We’ll keep you posted. The ShoZu Crew
Exciting news! You can now use ShoZu to send your photos and videos directly to Twitter. Hurrah! It’s really simple to set up – just add Twitter as a destination from your mobile or by logging into your account here. Now you can tweet your photos whenever, wherever! We’re always keen to hear about the sites you use so keep your feedback coming in. Happy tweeting! The ShoZu Crew
One man, his camera phone and ShoZu on a mission to travel as far as possible in 30 days, with nothing but goodwill from fellow Twitterers. If you haven’t heard about his plan , it’s pretty exciting! On 1st March Twitchhiker left the comfort of his home to travel as far as he can, in any direction, all on the goodwill of his fellow Twitterers. His rules are simple:
Paul Smith from Newcastle Upon Tyne has decided to put Twitter to the ultimate test in a bid to raise money for charity: water, a charity helping people in developing countries have access to clean water.
The bets are on as to how far he will get, although he has already had interest from as far away as New Zealand and has already made it to Chicago, where next?!
The great news is that Twitchhiker had already raised over £2,500 by his tenth day but he still has a target of £3,000 to reach. To watch Twitchhiker’s progress click here to follow his Flickr photostream and to see what he has been ShoZuing!
This month as well as the signs of spring we’re also seeing some ShoZu love out there (and here) on blogs, forums and hubs. Thanks guys! Do you remember we went to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month? Well, you can find out what we thought and see Jen ‘whirlwind’ Grenz, our Marketing VP, being interviewed by James Whatley from MIR in this video. Keep the ShoZu love coming The ShoZu Crew PS If you’re feeling less than love for ShoZu at the moment, email support right away!!
Some ShoZu users may be experiencing problems when trying to add Facebook as a destination site. We're working on the problem at the moment - so please bear with us.
Once we've fixed the problem you'll be able to upload photos, update your status and read friend status updates from your phone.
