Yes that's right, it's July 11th! ...well in half of the world at least, but not quite here in the US. Some folks will need to wait a few more hours, but then it will be time to head straight on over to the iTunes AppStore to get a hold of ShoZu's brilliant new iPhone version - for free! And yep, it even works on your iPod Touch.
How to get started:
- Click here to download ShoZu with iTunes and install it onto your iPhone/iPod
- Open ShoZu from your main menu
- New users select Sign up, existing users select Log in
- Now add your sites and get sharing!
Features include:
- Upload photos with tags, titles, and descriptions to 45+ sites
- Read and reply to comments on your photos, and post comments to your friends
- Update your profile status and see your friends' updates
- Get your friends photostreams on your phone
I'm also making the rest of the office incredibly jealous since I'm featured on the front page of Tech Crunch today in our iPhone demo video if you want to check it out.

That's right my friends, you can now use ShoZu with 46 different sites, and I kid you not there are more in the works! All you need is one simple mobile application and the online world is your oyster.
Today's batch of sites are a good mixture of something for everyone...
Snapfish is HP's own photo sharing and storage site where you can also mail order high quality prints.
Ovi is a service from Nokia allowing personal storage and sharing straight from your phone.
Reuters "You Witness News" lets you be a citizen journalist (you can read more about citizen journalism over here).
Xdrive is a new storage system from AOL offering 5 gigs of free storage. Looks just like your desktop with all your folders, pretty cool way to back up all the pics and vids on your phone using ShoZu's CC feature.
Linked in to Xdrive is AOL's new BlueString which allows you to share your stored media in a whole new way.
Snapmylife is another great sharing community, allowing you to not only publish photos but also view everyone else's on your phone.
divShare lets you store all sorts of things, and also offers 5 gigs for free.
SmugMug makes your galleries look sensational, and no ads or spam to boot.
Freewebs lets you create your own free website.
To use any of these new sites just check out the site catalogue on your phone by clicking Add sites or Add destinations from within ShoZu. If you don't see them yet, just hit the Check for updates menu option to sync it all up.

A little surprise is just around the corner courtesy of the ShoZu crew. We love the iPhone to bits, but this wonderful little device has been blocked to third party software for so long. But fear not! Our friend Steve Jobs is about to unlock its full potential and we are of course one step ahead and ready to launch ShoZu for iPhone in conjunction with the iTunes store... very soon!

As you might already know, ShoZu has been used by many different bands over the past few years making it dead simple for them to stay in touch with their fan bases all over the world. Their random impromptu postings give a unique view into their every day lives - they're only human after all! Bands can also respond to comments made by fans directly from their mobile phone and have everything automatically geotagged so life is pretty simple while on tour.
Today I'd like to share some stuff from Cobra Starship who've been using ShoZu for over a year. In this time Gabe, Alex, Ryland and Victoria have stirred up some pretty big waves online and earned themselves a very cult following! Enjoy..

I did a bunch of work for a local news station in my long haired, goatee touting, superstar university student days. Basically what this involved was sifting through a staggering payload of faxes every morning then spending 24 hours a day permanently handcuffed to your police radio. We spent so much time with our radios we named them after our favorite female celebrities. Mine was called Posh. If we drove across divided highways and through a few backyards we'd often beat the police to the scene, which was great, but we'd never beat the crowds of people who witnessed everything right from the start. The problem here is that they had nothing more than an anecdotal story to recall. And some of these characters were the most boring people on camera you'd ever seen.
But today is the age of the cameraphone and the big news organizations now acknowledge their importance in telling the whole story right from the beginning. What's the one device you've always got with you?
So we've just added yet another new site to our already exploding catalogue: NowPublic is the world's largest 'participatory news network' allowing you to not only upload your newsworthy pics and vids with ShoZu, but also write the entire story yourself.

Flying downhill at 185MPH with 700BHP under your right foot on a track built down the side of a big mountain... that's how it's done in Australia and it's the one thing I truly miss about that place (please don't tell my friends and family). So you can imagine the excitement when we were contacted by *my* V8 Supercar team - Stone Brothers Racing! I can now follow all of the trackside action live from over here in the US without leaving the comfort of the luxuriously appointed ShoZu office. But more importantly, I can still call it 'work'. V8 Supercars are a really big deal in New Zealand, Bahrain, even China, and the number 1 cause of pub arguments and food fights in Australia. The cars aren't quite the same spec as when they rolled off the showroom floor at Ford, but I liked to think that my one was identical even though it was oxford green with plastic hub caps.
